Planning Fees

In order to submit a valid planning application, the application must be accompanied by the appropriate planning fee.  The Planning (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 sets out the fee that must be paid to Council for planning applications.  All cheques should be made payable to ‘Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’ and submitted with the planning application to the Planning Office.

New Planning Fees 06 April 2023

The Planning (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023 ( https://www.legislation.gov.uk/nisr/2023/37/contents/made ) come into operation on 06 April 2023 and will apply to:

• All applications received prior to 06 April 2023 that are not valid applications prior to that date.
• All applications received on and after 06 April 2023.

NEW PLANNING FEES - 17 JUNE 2019

New Planning Fees will come into operation on 17 June 2019 under the new Planning (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019

The fee paid will be returned if the application submitted is returned as an invalid planning application.
