What can your Visitor Information Centre do for you?
Causeway Coast and Glens manage 7 Visitor Information Centres (VICs) within the Borough. Our VICs are traditionally the first point of contact for thousands of visitors every year who rely on them for up-to-date information and advice on what to see and do in the area.
Ballycastle, Ballymoney and Coleraine Visitor Information Centres are open to the public Monday to Saturday 09:00 to 17:00.
Portrush and Bushmills Visitor Information Centres are open 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Saturday and Sunday 12:00 - 16:00.
Limavady Visitor Information Centre is open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00 - 16:00, Friday 10:00 - 15:00 & Saturday 10:00 - 13:00.
Rathlin Boathouse Visitor Centre is open Monday to Sunday 9am - 5pm.
All of the centres are closed for lunch from 13:00 - 13:30.
In addition to being a great source of information and ideas for visitors, their role as a useful platform for local business promotion is possibly less well known. Many visitor centres support local tourism businesses by encouraging longer stays and greater spend.
