This privacy notice is to let you know how the Leisure and Development directorate of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will look after your personal information.

 

Our Standards:

Why Are You Processing My Personal Information?

The Leisure and Development directorate is collecting and processing your personal information in order to fulfil our legal obligation to provide leisure and recreational facilities which is provided for under the Access to the Countryside Order NI 1983.

We will use your personal information to communicate directly with you and to allow a process for engagement and consultation and to answer any of your questions which may arise on a possible cycle trail project, known as the greenway.

 

 

What Type of Personal Information Are You Processing?

We will be collecting and processing the following types of personal information: Name, address, phone number and email address.

 

Where Do You Get My Personal Information From?

We sourced your personal information from the Land Registry layer provided through NIMA (Northern Ireland Mapping Agreement) which is held and maintained by Land Registry/LPS/OSNI

 

Do You Share My Personal Information With Anyone Else?

Your information will be held by the Leisure and Development directorate and the digital services section of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council

We may share your information internally with Council Departments and a consultancy firm who assist Council with the engagement/consultation process, for advancement of consultation and engagement.

We will not disclose any of your personal information to any other organisation unless required to do so by law.

 

Do You Transfer My Personal Information To Other Countries?

We will not transfer your information to any other country.

 

How Long Do You Keep My Personal Information?

We will keep your information for no longer than is necessary and in line with Council’s retention and disposal schedule

We may also keep it for longer in order to meet other legislative requirements, or to answer requests for information from ongoing or impending statutory inquiries.

What We Ask of You

Please make sure that any information you give us is as accurate and as complete as possible.
Don’t include personal information about another person (including your family members) unless you have told the individual concerned and they agree to it being supplied to us.
