The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council was welcomed to Roe Valley Integrated Primary School recently to enjoy afternoon tea with staff and pupils.

Councillor Brenda Chivers heard updates on plans for a new building, ongoing charity work and the school’s twinning project during her visit.

Speaking afterwards she said: “It was wonderful to spend the afternoon in Roe Valley Integrated School and meet with not only staff and pupils, but spend some time with School Council representatives. This gave the young people a chance to make their voices heard and ask me about issues affecting them. I wish all pupils success throughout the rest of the school year.”
