Tourism and Recreation Large Events
The purpose of the Tourism and Recreation Large Events Fund is to support the delivery of the Destination Management Plan. Paramount to this is the growth of visitor numbers and visitor spend.
The key objectives of supporting events will be to maximise the opportunity to;
- Generate economic benefits for the Causeway Coast and Glens area through increased visitor numbers and spend
- Enhance the profile and appeal of the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area eg, through media and marketing campaign/exposure
- Enhance the visitor experience
- Encourage events to extend the tourism season

The Tourism and Recreation Large Events Fund will offer financial support to eligible events taking place between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018.
