The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Programme will open Wednesday 9th March 2022 @ 12 noon.

The purpose of the Grant Programme is to provide funding to community and voluntary organisations for small scale community events and activities to mark the occasion of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Grant Maximum Grant Amount

Single Organisation can apply for a grant of

Two Organisations working together:

Three or more organisations working to

Up to £500

Up to £1,000

Up to £1,500

Activities might include tea parties, fun days, talks, exhibitions, workshops.

Themes might include:

  • Celebration of community, encouraging people to get together and make connections through music, food, arts.
  • Intergenerational projects that encourage sharing of stories and activities and getting to know a different generation and an understanding of the past.
  • Any aspect of royalty, from the modern royal family, through to historic kingdoms, royal sites of local significance and the kings and queens celebrated in our folklore and mythology.

Applicants should show how their project meets the following objectives:-

i.  Celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee in a spirit of inclusion and respect
ii. Encourage, promote and celebrate community connections

Applications will be considered for events and activities up to 31st March 2023.  Deadline for submission of application is 12 noon on Wednesday 23rd March 2022.
