Reason:    This policy may adversely affect some individuals.  However the level of impact is currently unclear.  The Town Hall is a place of  remembrance and history and therefore political emblems may be more accepted by the community it serves in the Town Hall.  Indeed the front of the Town Hall is where the remembrance wreaths are placed and is the site of the Ulster Defence Regiment memorial. There are also a number of stained glass windows in the building, one in the Tourist Information Centre commemorates Her Majesty the Queen`s Silver Jubilee.
