Sarah Jane Scouten set to perform in Limavady

Wed, February 06, 2019

Talented Canadian folk singer Sarah Jane Scouten will take to the stage at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady on Saturday 9th March at 8pm.

The star will entertain audiences with her tongue in cheek show featuring edgy song themes including midwifery, poverty and heartache.

The three time Canadian Folk Award nominee takes influence from Nanci Griffiths, Iris Dement and Lucinda Williams but has her own distinct, unique vocal delivery and apparent flair for folk music.

The traditional songwriter has been described as a ‘sterling example of top grade Americana’ by Folk Radio UK and is known for her humorous interaction with audiences.

This is a BYOB event and tickets priced at £14 are available from www.eventbrite.com. For further information visit www.roevalleyarts.com or call 028 7776 0650.
