Public Notice - Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 Notice of Proposed Special Event
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has received an application from Shauna Mitchell on behalf of the Heart of The Glens Festival 2022 that it wishes to hold a Private Special Event on Bridge Street and Mill Street, Cushendall.
By virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule 3A of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) 1997 the Council gives notice that it is minded to make an order to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following roads over the following dates and times to facilitate the safe operation of the event:
Tuesday 9th August 2022 from 18:00hrs until 22:00hrs – Bridge Street (from Curfew Tower to car park entrance) and Mill Street (from Old Schoolhouse to Curfew Tower)
Friday 12th August 2022 from 17:00hrs until 00:00hrs – Mill Street (closed at both ends at Old Schoolhouse and at Curfew Tower)
Sunday 14th August 2022 from 17:00hrs until 00:00hrs – Mill Street (closed at both ends at Old Schoolhouse and at Curfew Tower)
Where necessary local diversions will be in operation and signed as appropriate.
Copies of the application may be inspected free of charge at the address below.
Persons wishing to make representation to the Council regarding the proposals, may make representations in writing to the Environmental Services Department, Health and Built Environment Section at the address below by 17:00hrs on 8th June 2022.
Representations received after this date will not be considered.
