Lily Patrick has received a civic gift from the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council as part of her 100th birthday celebrations.

Lily, a resident of Leabank Private Nursing Home in Ballycastle, enjoyed a visit from Councillor Ivor Wallace to mark the milestone occasion.

Extending his best wishes, the Mayor said:

“On behalf of the entire Borough, I was delighted to wish Lily a very happy birthday and share in her special day.

“Being invited to take part in momentous events like this is one of the many privileges of my role. I was a real pleasure to meet Lily, members of her family and carers at Leabank, who extended a very warm welcome.”
