A new course aimed at young people with a passion for art and reading begins in Limavady later this month.

The ‘Illustrate’ classes are designed to complement the prestigious World Illustration Awards exhibition which goes on display at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre from February 18th.

Facilitated by artist Linda Lewis, young people aged 8 – 14 can participate in this fantastic four week course which will look at amazing works from artists

throughout the world included in the exhibition.

Participants will also find out about renowned illustrators such as Quentin Blake and Raymond Briggs and share and discuss their own favourite illustrated books as they create their own short stories and illustrations.

‘Illustrate’ runs for four consecutive Saturdays from February 18th to March 11th from 2pm - 4pm. Places are limited to a maximum of 12.
