Have your say on community facility provision in Ballycastle- Survey closing date extended

Tue, December 13, 2016

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is carrying out an audit of community facilities in Ballycastle.

The aim of this exercise is to identify the current facilities that are available for community use in the town and if there are any gaps in community facility provision.

As a local resident or as a member of a local community or voluntary organisation that uses community facilities in Ballycastle, we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to complete the survey about the facilities that are currently available in the town, your current use of these and your future needs.

While this audit is about facilities in Ballycastle itself, we understand that groups from rural areas also use the facilities in the town.  Therefore, if you are based in one of the villages or rural areas and use community facilities in Ballycastle, even occasionally, we would ask you to complete the survey as well.

What do we mean by ‘community facilities’?

Community facilities include any building available for the local community to use for social, recreational or other activities. Examples might include a meeting of your organisation, to book for a birthday party, to attend a social event or to attend a training course.

The facility could be a community centre, church hall, sports club facility, school etc

Many thanks for taking the time to answer this survey to help us plan future facility provision in your area.

The survey will remain open until Friday January20th 2017.
