Fitness for all as Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council launches new online exercise classes

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is encouraging people to stay fit and healthy with a new range of online exercise classes.

Yoga, Pilates and Dance Fit will be delivered via Zoom throughout November, led by qualified and experienced tutors from the Sport and Wellbeing team.

Mark Fielding, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council said: “We want to ensure our residents can still avail of a range of exercise options, despite the current restrictions and once again we are showing how innovative we can be in the face of the pandemic.

“Regular exercise is very important for our overall health, including our mental wellbeing, and I hope people enjoy what we have planned for November.”

Classes begin from week commencing Monday 2nd November. Each session is priced at £3 per person and member discounts will apply (applicable to membership level).

Registering is quick and easy via the Causeway Coast and Glens Leisure App for your smartphone or ring your local Leisure Centre.

New customers can complete the online registration process prior to booking their class through the app by clicking the ‘member info’ section on their selected home club and following the registration process.  Once your account is registered you can then book your sessions. Zoom links will be emailed to participants by the instructor.
