Community Assistance Centre opened for residents left without power

A Community Assistance Centre will be opened by NIE Networks today for local residents affected by power cuts.

Thousands of customers across Northern Ireland are currently without electricity following storms Isha and Jocelyn inrecent days, and restoration efforts are continuing.

A number of Community Assistance Centres will open across Northern Ireland from 4pm-8pm today, including at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney.

NIE Networks staff will be on hand to answer any queries and customers will be able to get a warm drink and charge any devices.
