Causeway Coast and Glens entrepreneurs and businesses encouraged to ‘Go Succeed’ with groundbreaking new Enterprise Service

The Mayor has officially launched an exciting new Enterprise Support Service called ‘Go Succeed’.

This new service will provide an inclusive approach to government support services, with a greater focus on providing a tailored service to suit an individual’s needs.

‘Go Succeed’ will help drive the local and regional economy, providing support to entrepreneurs, new starts, and existing businesses across the Causeway Coast and Glens area and Northern Ireland as a whole.

Speaking at the launch event, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Steven Callaghan said: “Council is delighted to launch ‘Go Succeed’, a service that we hope will deliver improved outcomes for entrepreneurs and businesses across the Borough.

“It is the result of a lot of hard work and collaboration by all partner Councils, and we look forward to supporting the ambitions of local businesses via this new, improved service”.

Led by Northern Ireland’s 11 local Councils, this service will provide entrepreneurs and businesses with the direct support they need including mentoring, masterclasses, peer networks, access to grant funding and a business plan.

Funded by the UK Government and powered by the government’s Levelling Up Fund, Go Succeed represents a significant investment in local entrepreneurs and businesses.

Go Succeed has been developed using research undertaken by a range of expertise in the field of enterprise development.

These experts have provided solutions on the types of interventions that might be required to ‘move the dial’ for the Northern Ireland local economy relating to levels of business start-ups, productivity, access to innovation and levels of export.

These recommendations provide the foundation for this new exciting service.

In Causeway Coast and Glens, Go Succeed delivery partners are Enterprise Causeway, Roe Valley Enterprises and Deirdre Fitzpatrick & Associates.
