Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, working with the Royal British Legion, has developed a programme of free events to mark the centenary of World War One. The programme will culminate in a series of co-ordinated beacon lighting ceremonies to mark the events of Armistice Day in November.
Exhibitions, dramatic performances, concerts and military displays will combine to tell the story of the Great War and how it came to an end 100 years ago.

| Sunday 11th November | BEACON LIGHTINGS Ballymoney - Townhead Street Car Park Coleraine - The Diamond. Candle Lit Vigil at Coleraine Town Hall with a WW1 Projection. Limavady Parade from the United Services Club to Drumceatt Square on for a short drumhead service prior to lighting of the beacon followed by a hot buffet supper provided by Christ Church catering committee.
