Things Connected NI Challenge Programme - GET INVOLVED!

Things Connected Northern Ireland is launching several challenge calls in areas such as urban living, transport, smart buildings, manufacturing, digital media, tourism, agriculture and healthcare. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council are part of this consortium and are inviting local businesses to be part of this exciting project.

CHALLENGE CALLS
To support these aims Things Connected Northern Ireland have developed a Challenge Programme. Aimed at SMEs, the programme will provide support for Northern Ireland companies that want to enhance their competitive edge by working together to address challenges in urban and rural Northern Ireland.

FUNDING
The combined pot of £145k will be divided across the projects and phases.

SECTORS OF INTEREST
Initially, £2,000 will be available for up to 25 collaborations seeking to explore innovation in:

Agriculture
Creative Technologies
Healthcare
Playable cities (Animating the public realm)
Manufacturing 
Smart Buildings
Tourism
Transportation and logistics

Further funding may be available for those proposals that have business growth potential.

PROJECT LAUNCH 9TH MAY
While this project launch event is taking place next Wednesday 9th May 2018 in Belfast, there will be a number of local events, being rolled out in June.
