Causeway Coast and Glens Local Action Group officially launched their local Rural Development Strategy on Thursday 10th March 2016. The Strategy aims to support a range of initiatives which will seek to improve the local social and economic life and create a high quality experience for all residents within the Borough.

The Rural Business Investment Scheme has been prioritised by the Local Action Group and will be the first Scheme to open for applications. Having held a number of information sessions across the Borough, the Local Action Group is currently organising 8 mandatory Pre-Application Funding Workshops for potential applicants to attend in the first 2 weeks of April, with the intention to open a closed call for applications in May 2016.
