Dates for Rural Business Investment Scheme Funding Workshops March 2018

Over 30 businesses in the Causeway Coast and Glens area have already been approved for grant funding through the Rural Business Investment Scheme, with over £1.1million committed to projects that will help rural businesses prosper. 

Funding Workshop dates have now been set for the Call 5 of the Rural Business Investment Scheme, which will open for application in April 2018

All applicants who intend to apply must attend a MANDATORY Pre-Application Funding Workshop.  Dates are as follows:

Wednesday 7th March 2018 2.00pm Council Offices, Sheskburn House, Ballycastle
Thursday 8th March 2018 6.00pm Council Offices, Cloonavin, Coleraine

You must attend one of the above dates to be eligible to apply in April 2018.

What will be covered in the Workshop?
Steps in preparing to submit an application to the Rural Business Investment Scheme in April 2018. Full attendance of a session is mandatory if you intend to apply.

Next steps?

Step 1- Call us immediately on 028 7034 7016 or e-mail rdp@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk   to request an Expression of Interest form.
Step 2- Complete the Expression of Interest and return as soon as possible. If eligible to apply you will be registered to attend a Funding Workshop.
                                                                                                   
If you do not attend one of the above workshops and submit an application your application will be deemed ineligible.

Workshop participants must be an owner, partner or director of the business applying. Consultants working for an applicant cannot attend on behalf of the applicant but can accompany an applicant.

Only one application per applicant per call is permitted

Attendance at a Pre-Application Workshop does not guarantee an offer of funding.

Application to the scheme is a competitive process and subject to the availability of funding.
