About Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership

Sub Menu

Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership (LMP)  was created by the Department for Communities (DfC) and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council as part of the the Employability NI programme. Each council borough in Northern Ireland now has its' own local Labour Market Partnership.

The purpose of the Causeway Coast and Glens LMP is to:

• Provide leadership and integration of services for optimal labour market outcomes;

• Develop local area plans including setting targets for performance;

• Manage devolved funding and its delivery; and

• Manage arrangements for the evaluation of local interventions.

Causeway Coast and Glens LMP is part of a wider, province-wide initiative funded by the Department for Communities. By adopting a flexible, localised approach, the LMP will respond to local needs and deliver a tailored action plan which reflects local labour market conditions.The partnership will continue to evolve and tackle labour market concerns throughout the borough during its' lifetime.
