Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership

Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership (LMP) is a new programme to help address challenges in the local labour market for people that are unemployed, under-employed or needing to upskill, and also for local employers who are looking to attract talent.

The LMP is funded by the Department for Communities and delivered by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. Key objectives of this LMP will be to support Employability NI initiatives; ensure that local knowledge and insights are ‘surfaced’; and develop solutions based on local context.

The three key strategic priorities of our LMP this year are:

1. To form and successfully deliver the functions of the local Labour Market Partnership for the area.

2. To improve employability outcomes and/or labour market conditions locally.

3. To support delivery of Employability NI.

By adopting a flexible, localised approach, the Labour Market Partnership will respond to local needs and develop a tailored action plan which reflects local labour market conditions and challenges.
