Ulster University - Covid Impact on Business Start-ups

Sub Menu

This survey is being undertaken by researchers within Ulster University's Economic Policy Centre and Business School

Ulster University are seeking to understand the impact of COVID-19 on new businesses and business start-up activity in Northern Ireland, along with views on the COVID-19 business support schemes. The survey results will contribute to a report with a view to informing policy makers, and wider stakeholders, of the impact.
The survey is aimed towards those who have started a business or become self-employed in Northern Ireland within the last four years, including during 2020. We are also interested in the views of those thinking of starting a business or becoming self-employed within the next year.
The survey does not require any personal information that will identify you or your business.
At no time will the information you provide be used for any purpose other than the research and you will in no way be adversely affected by taking part. Your responses will be treated as confidential and maintained securely, with only the researchers having access to the data.
Ulster University are grateful for your co-operation in this survey.
If you have any queries on the survey or project you can contact Dr Karen Bonner at ka.bonner@ulster.ac.uk
