World Host training for tourism sector as the summer season approaches

Fri, June 08, 2018

Is your business ready for the busy summer season ahead?

The Causeway Coast and Glens is Lonely Planet’s number one region to visit this year so the area is looking forward to welcoming more people than ever before.

With this in mind, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council's tourism team is running a World Host training session on Tuesday 19th June.

It’s aimed at anyone working in the hospitality and tourism sectors who want to enhance their customer service skills and contribute to a positive experience for visitors.

The full day course on the Principles of Customer Service will run from 9am - 5pm in the Council's offices in Coleraine.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has subsidised 50% of the costs so the training fee is £15 per person including lunch and refreshments.

Everyone who completes training will receive a certificate which can be displaid in your premises as a sign of your commitment to providing the best customer service.

To book your place please email engagement@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk.

Numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
