Thu, January 24, 2019

Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady is set to welcome an exhibition featuring stunning photographs and poems by James Hughes and John Brown.

Opening on Friday 8th February, the ‘Snow’ collection is a unique and timely collaboration.

Photographer James Hughes captures poignant and atmospheric moments, landscapes and interiors in the heart of winter in locations across Europe. These monochrome photographs are enhanced with a series of poems reflecting on snow and wintertime by acclaimed writer John Brown.

A launch event will take place on Thursday 7th February from 7pm-8.30pm.

A musical and spoken word response to the exhibition will take place on Friday 8th March at 7.30pm where James and John will be joined by musicians Kyron Burke, Aidan Mulholland, Hazilit Keers and Bill McCance for a collective performance of music, poetry and songs.

Refreshments will be provided and admission is free to both events.

The exhibition will remain open until Saturday 19th May. For further information, call 028 7776 0650 or visit www.roevalleyarts.com.
