Welfare Reform leaflet launched by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council

Mon, December 18, 2017

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has produced a Welfare Reform information leaflet.

‘Helping you through Welfare Reform’ aims to offer guidance and support to people in the area who have been affected by Universal Credit.

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Joan Baird OBE, said: “As the first Council to be directly affected by Universal Credit, it was imperative to develop a guide that offered practical support and advice to members of the community. The leaflet should hopefully put people at ease and explain the changes in an informative and easy to understand way.”

The leaflet includes information from a number of agencies including the Jobs and Benefits Office, Citizens Advice Causeway and energy efficiency advice services. Residents in the area can pick the leaflet up from all local agencies or local advice services. It can also be downloaded below.
