Are you a member of a local community or voluntary group?

Causeway Coast and Glens Community Planning Strategic Partnership is calling on individuals active within the voluntary sector to participate in a Community Engagement Platform Speed Networking and Sharing Event.

Come along to meet and exchange ideas with Causeway Coast and Glens Community Planning Partners representing a wide range of Statutory Agencies including Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, PSNI, NI Fire & Rescue Service, The Education Authority, CCMS, Housing Executive, Invest NI, Libraries NI, Health & Social Care Trusts (Northern/Western), Health & Social Care Board, Tourism NI, The Housing Executive, Invest NI, Public Health Agency and Sport NI.

The event aims to build relationships and connect more local voices to local public services and decision making bodies. This will help highlight the collective interests of the local community and voluntary sector while acting as a borough wide platform for consultation and engagement.

Patricia McQuillan MBE and Ann McNickle, Joint-Chairs of the Community Engagement Platform said: “Events like these provide opportunities to make connections, which in turn helps to grow trust, relationships and ongoing communication across our communities.

We would encourage everyone with an interest to sign up and come along to the event.”

Participation is open to any interested individual active in the local community and voluntary sector of Causeway Coast and Glens.

The event takes place on Wednesday 29th January in Dervock Community Centre from 3pm to 5pm.

Please sign up to attend by emailing community.planning@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk or contact the Community Planning Team by telephoning 028 276 60209.
