Rural theme for new exhibition at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

Thu, March 29, 2018

A new rural-themed exhibition opens in Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre this month.

Move +B STILL, by local artist Sara Cunningham-Bell, explores animal life along the Causeway Coast and the fields of Derry/ Londonderry.

Sara employs a wide range of media and uses her work as a visual allegory showing how, with positive co-existence, difference becomes strength and the inclusion of plethora of form can create a richer tapestry within society.

Accompanying this, there will be a free workshop entitled Racing Animals for 14-18 year old art students on Friday 6th April 10-12.30pm, book by calling 02877760650 or email information@rvacc.co.uk.

Participants will get hands on experience with a master crafts artist and their creations will be included in the exhibition.

A launch event will take place on Wednesday 18th April from 5.30pm-7pm. Refreshments and a wine reception will be available.

The exhibition will remain open until Saturday 19th May.
