Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre is set to host the well-loved Inishowen Folk trio, The Henry Girls.

The Donegal sisters Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin will perform some of their newest songs as they launch their latest album Time to Grow.

Famous music publication Music News Nashville has described the trio as “one of those music acts that you just want to tell people about – as many as you can”.

Their music infuses the rich cultural heritage of their native Donegal with a transatlantic flavour.

With thoughtful and intelligent lyrics, gorgeous spellbinding three-part harmonies, and incredible musicianship across the accordion, fiddle and harp, The Henry Girls produce a unique and beautiful sound. Their new album has received a number of fantastic reviews already, praising the groups heartfelt and beautifully crafted lyrics and the collaboration with BBC Folk Singer of the Year, Riognach Conolly.

Their family harmonies, and ability to interweave their traditional roots with contemporary elements, has earned them commercial success and spectacular critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic.

Join the team at Roe Valley for a night of enchanting music from one of Ireland’s top emerging folk trios.

The performance will be at 8pm on Friday, 14th June (doors open 7:30pm). Tickets can be purchased at or by calling the Arts Centre on 028 7776 60650. Tickets cost £20, or £18 for concession prices.

The performance is set to be held in the Danny Boy Auditorium, with unreserved seating.
