Rates freeze continues for third consecutive year

There will be no increase in the District Rate set by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council for the third consecutive year.

The decision was taken by Council members at a meeting on Thursday 8th February.

Council will now seek to make further efficiency savings of £1.7m, bringing its total operational efficiencies to £8m since its inception in 2015. 

The rate factors which will be applied from 1st April 2018 are:

Domestic                     0.3568

Non-Domestic          24.4776

This takes no account of any regional rate increase which has yet to be announced.
