The People’s Choice Award in the Vauxhall International NW 200 ‘Capture the Moment’ photographic competition has been awarded to two budding photographers.

Visitors to the exhibition in Ballymoney Museum were asked to cast their vote to determine the winners.

Organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Museum Services, the competition was open to professional, amateur and first time photographers.

The photographic entries needed to relate in some way to the road racing event and its impact on the Causeway Coast and Glens area.

Paul Allen from Drumahoe and Johnny Olphert from Desertmartin were the two clear winners.

Both will receive winners’ packs from the organising committee of the Vauxhall International North West 200.

The photographs will now be stored in the Museum Service archives as a captured moment in time.
