Thu, July 25, 2019

Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre will open its doors to the public on Saturday 3rd August for a free day of creative fun for all the family.

The Open Day will take place from 12pm-3pm, giving visitors and residents the opportunity to experience all the wonderful facilities Roe Valley Arts Centre has to offer.

The Big Telly Theatre Company will return with their hugely popular Bear Hospital where little bears can be treated by the BEARiatrics team and whisked off in the amBEARlance for some tender loving care.

The afternoon will also offer the opportunity for families to relax around Drumceatt Square, explore the wonderful artisan food and crafts from the Naturally North Coast and Glens Market whilst listening to a live DJ performance and music from The Rhythm Rascals.

Children can also avail of a range of arts and crafts activities on the day with pavement chalk art, the chance to create willow, teddy bear puppet making and ceramic slab workshop. With face painting and Henna Tattoos available and a host of walkabout characters, it is set to be a fun filled day for everyone.

This project has received financial support from Causeway Coast and Glens Good Relations department through The Executive Office District Council Good Relations Programme.
