Niamh Kavanagh concert marks return of indoor live music to Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

Fri, October 01, 2021

Live music will make a welcome return to the auditorium at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre on Friday 22nd October 2021 with a ‘Date Night’ concert by Eurovision Song Contest winner Niamh Kavanagh.

The centre’s first indoor music event at the auditorium in over a year will see Niamh perform a retrospective of special songs highlighting memorable moments from her extensive career, with a sprinkle of chat and craic for good measure.

Expect familiar favourites interpreted in Niamh's inimitable fashion, accompanied by her guitarist husband, Paul Megahey. Think acoustic versions of Chain of Fools, Richard Thompson’s Dimming of the Day and of course the one and only, In Your Eyes, as well as a smattering of Niamh’s own back catalogue.

The cabaret style seating will be allocated to guests on arrival, allowing for one metre social distancing.

A maximum of 45 tickets are available for the event and patrons are asked to wear a facemask when moving through the communal areas of the building.

Please note this event is not BYO and there will be no bar facilities.

Tickets for the concert, which begins at 8pm, cost £15 and are available via Eventbrite here:  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/niamh-kavanagh-date-night-tickets-178714027467.

Alternatively you can contact the Box Office by ringing 028 777 60650.
