New Autumn Season of events at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre in Limavady has launched its new autumn season of events packed full of music, theatre and family fun.

A Nashville celebration ‘On the Road & In the Round’ takes place on Friday 5th October at 8pm. Featuring the superb Jesse Terry, Lizanne Knott and Michael Logen it is an evening of music not to be missed. The music programme continues on Saturday 20th October when Emily Barker performs. The internationally acclaimed singer songwriter will take to the stage at 8pm.

All the way from Alabama, The Mulligan Brothers will grace the Danny Boy Auditorium for a fabulous evening of Americana Folk Rock on Saturday 17th November at 8pm. Local band LORE perform on Saturday 24th November and last but not least, Europe’s leading ABBA tribute band AbbaMania will entertain audiences on Friday 28th December.

From now until December, there is much to choose from for families. The Halloween Spooktacular takes place on Wednesday 31st October, perfect for children on mid-term. A special festive screening of Elf will take place on Saturday 15th December at 2pm with an autism friendly screening at 10am. Just before Christmas, families and children can enjoy The Hedgehog Prince on Saturday 22nd December.

Other highlights include a performance of ‘Macbeth’ by Merely Theatre on Wednesday 17th October and C21 Theatre’s riveting ‘It Only Takes a Minute’ on Tuesday 6th November.

Exhibitions include War Torn Children from 5th September to 29th November and Close to Home, an artist collective exhibition from 8th December. Art enthusiasts and students can also enjoy Exhibition on Screen’s film ‘David Hockney at the Royal Academy of Arts’ on Thursday 27 September.
