Mayor’s Reception for World Champion Irish Dancers

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has held a special reception to mark the achievements of the McNicholl School of Irish Dancing.

Members enjoyed great success at the recent World Championships in Dublin, with three World Champion winning teams and a Solo World Champion.

Speaking after the reception, The Mayor Councillor Joan Baird OBE said: “I was delighted to welcome this group of young dancers to our offices in Limavady and personally congratulate them on their remarkable results. The level of commitment that each dancer gives is very clear to see and I hope they continue to enjoy success for many years to come.”
