Local firefighters have enjoyed a visit from the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

The occasion provided an opportunity for Councillor Brenda Chivers to pay tribute to the outstanding service they provide to the local community.

The Mayor said: “Our local firefighters play a vital role keeping our communities safe. They can be called upon at any time, and are often faced with serious risks and traumatic situations as they put their own lives at risk to help others. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for their unrelenting bravery and commitment.”
