Life Drawing Course

Are you interested in developing your art skills or drawing ability? Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady, is hosting an eight week course in’ Life Drawing’ from Thursday 1st October until Thursday 19th November from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. The course, taught by Italian artist ‘Sebastiano Furci’ will encourage participants to explore and develop their drawing skills by working from a live model. Life Drawing is considered to be one of the oldest and most revered drawing practices, with even Prince Charles encouraging it through his founded School of Drawing in London. Desima Connolly, Arts and Cultural Services Officer at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre said,”It can be very difficult to find life drawing courses outside of a major city. This course is great experience for any students aged 18 years and over, wishing to develop their creative portfolio for college applications. “It is also designed for professional artists and individuals who just want to try something new and relaxing. “Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre is delighted to offer this highly valued practice to beginners and experienced students in our dedicated studio.” There are ten places available on the course.
