The Roe Valley Ancestral Researchers held a popular open weekend event at Green Lane Museum in Limavady, which was attended by hundreds of visitors.

Various demonstrations took place including wood turning, quilting, blacksmithing and mandala painting, as well as musical interludes and poetry readings, which were enjoyed by almost 500 guests over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Roe Valley Ancestral Researchers have opened the museum voluntarily for the 2023 season and the museum will remain open on weekends throughout September.

It is free to visit, and the knowledge of the volunteers regarding the history and heritage of the Roe Valley makes for a very enjoyable visit.
