The Council intends to install tenants in the facilities listed below as soon as possible for the coming season.
The proposed term for each is 9 months with an option to renew (subject to agreement) for a further 24 months.
SELF DRIVE LEISURE CRUISER HIRE BUSINESS AT DRUMAHEGLIS HOLIDAY PARK AND MARINA, 36 GLENSTALL ROAD, BALLYMONEY
Council wishes to promote river recreational and economic activities on the River Bann. Bespoke infrastructure has been created to accommodate the private sector to allow the operation of a cruiser hire business at Drumaheglis Holiday Park and Marina. This available infrastructure includes pontoon facilities and an administration/retail unit. This provision of this service is intended to complement the activities available at Drumaheglis and stimulate the visitor economy for the Lower Bann corridor.

These premises offer approx. 74.3 sq. metres / 800 sq. feet for the development of a coffee shop outlet that will complement the hot food bar next door to this shop situated on the busy Causeway Coastal Route at Carrick Dhu between Portrush and Portstewart. Council invites potential operators to outline their plans for the development of a coffee shop, and offer basic bread / milk / papers to customers of the 450+ pitches available on this 4-star Park.
