Family friendly film screenings have become a tradition at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre at all times of the year, and this December two festive favourites are on the bill.

Children will enjoy The Grinch That Stole Christmas on Saturday 7th December from 2pm. Tickets are £3 each or a family ticket for 4 is £10. This Dr Seuss tale, set in Whoville, follows the revenge seeking green Grinch as he sets out to ruin Christmas for all the citizens in the town! Certificate PG.

On Saturday 21st December at 2pm the timeless Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, starring James Stewart, as the irrepressible George Bailey will play on the big screen. George takes a personal beating from life and is about to give up completely, when his guardian angel intercedes and shows him what life for his family and his hometown would be like without him. A beautifully told tale of hope and goodness prevailing, no matter what. Tickets are £3 or £10 for a party of 4. Certificate U.
