Hugo Duncan’s hugely popular radio show will come live from Ballymoney on Friday (April 13th) as the town welcomes the return of its annual Spring Fair.

The BBC Radio Ulster broadcast from Castlecroft will take place from 1.30pm – 3pm with lots to see and do from 12 noon including Naturally North Coast & Glens Artisan Market and jiving demos alongside walkabout characters, face painting and balloon modelling.

It looks set to be a weekend not to be missed with in-store fashion and lifestyle events and special promotions in many of the town’s unique shops and boutiques.

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Councillor Joan Baird OBE said: Working alongside Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce and Local Women magazine we are delighted to develop the Spring Fair into a two-day event with a wide variety of activities and attractions on Friday and Saturday. There is a fantastic community spirit in Ballymoney and the Spring Fair showcases the very best of what the town has to offer. I’m looking forward to joining you all for a great day of family-friendly entertainment.”

Cheryl Cole, Editor of Local Women North Coast and Ballymena said: “Local Women is absolutely delighted to be the main sponsor of the 2018 Ballymoney Spring Fair and we look forward to covering all the fantastic family friendly events across the weekend. “The Spring Fair is great for the local community and here at Local Women we are very excited to be a part of it.”

On Saturday (April 14th) the town will be filled with music and colour with Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club staging its Vintage and Classic Car show at Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre from 10am.

Naturally North Coast & Glens Artisan Market will be open at Castlecroft Square from 11am offering the very best of local produce and hand-crafted goods accompanied by live traditional music and dance from Mandragora, Kelly Neill Dance Company and Jack McNaul.
