Council bringing Town Centre Clinics to Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Limavady

Members of the public are invited to take part in a series of town centre clinics organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

Events will take place in Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Limavady over the next number of weeks to showcase Council services and support opportunities. They are open to anyone including the general public, business representatives, schools, community groups, or volunteers. If you have an issue or idea relating to your town centre please come and talk to us!

Council staff will be on hand to provide information on a wide range of topics including:

LiveSmart Campaign: There are many LiveSmart initiatives which you, your group or business can take part in such as H20 on the Go, LitterSmart, CafeSmart, FoodSmart, StaySmart, ClothesSmart, PlasticSmart, ClimateSmart, NappySmart, RecycleSmart and ShareSmart.  Find out what small achievable actions you or your business can do to help us all do our bit towards tackling climate change which affects us all

Pavement Cafes: Do you operate or wish to operate a pavement café as part of your hospitality offering?  Come along and find out what is involved.

Town Management: We want to support our towns and villages as great places to live, work & visit by connecting and consulting with people and businesses, measuring and improving prosperity and developing and promoting places.  Come and talk to us about your town centre.

Business support: The Business Support Team will be on hand to provide advice on starting or growing a business, including details of our fully funded mentoring programmes to help you solve problems, modernise processes, embrace digital technology or manage finances

Tourism Trade Engagement: If you are starting a new tourism venture, thinking of expanding or diversifying your existing business, seeking information on training or simply have a query that you would like help with, then please get in touch with a member of the team.

Causeway Coast and Glens Gift Card: Did you know Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has launched a new gift card scheme? The ‘Causeway Coast & Glens Gift Card’ aims to encourage more spending in the local area as it can only be used in registered businesses located in the Borough. Register your business or find out how to purchase.

Police and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP): Making our community safer by focusing on the policing and community safety issues that matter most across the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area. Community and business involvement is vitally important if we are to really deliver a safer society for all. Find out what projects are currently happening in your area. Talk to the team and tell us your views on crime, fear of crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as local policing. FREE Select DNA property marking kits will be available on the day so make sure to call in and get yours.

Staff will be able to discuss your queries on the day or make a referral to the appropriate section or agency.

Tuesday 4th February, Ramoan Parish Centre, Ballycastle.

Thursday 6th February, Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady.

Monday 10th February, Ballymoney Town Hall.

Tuesday 11th February, Causeway Rural and Urban Network, Brook St, Coleraine.

All clinics will run from 2pm – 4pm.
