Community groups get together for Inspiring Ideas workshop

Mon, December 18, 2017

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council recently hosted an ‘Inspiring Ideas’ workshop in Ballymoney Town Hall.

Aimed at community organisations who organised festivals and events, it was facilitated by Grainne McCloskey from The Big Lunch Project.

Community groups had the opportunity to network with other likeminded organisations, providing them with inspirations for future events.

Groups from across the Borough attended and had an opportunity to speak to officers from other Council departments such as Sports Development, Arts, Community Development, Culture & Heritage, Recycling, Environmental Health and Biodiversity.

Council’s Community Festivals Fund is now open for applications and interested groups are encouraged to view the Guidance Notes which are available at www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/grantsandfunding
