Community group litter pick at Benone Beach

A litter pick has taken place at Benone Beach on World Oceans Day by local community group ‘Moving on Up.’
The group from Limavady co-ordinated the beach clean-up with support from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. They volunteered their time and energy to try and ensure our coastline is a clean and safe place for visitors and residents to enjoy.
Council supported their endeavours with the loan of litter pickers, bags and the pick-up for recycling of all the materials collected on the day.
