Hailed as an award winning writer and director, Damian Gorman will be leading a free workshop on Saturday 28th January in The Mayors Parlour, Sheskburn House in Ballycastle.

Titled ‘The Heart of the Thing’, the workshop will run from 2pm-4pm.

Additionally, there will also be a reading by Damian taking place that evening in The Golf Club at 8pm.

Having received outstanding reviews throughout his career, Damian can also take ownership of winning Northern Irelands first ever BBC BAFTA award for his drama ‘United’ in 1998. It was in this year that he also received an MBE for his services to the arts.

Damian has been at the forefront of literature for over three decades and has most recently received thousands of views for his short series of online poems called ‘Considerations.’

This workshop is being organised by Ballycastle Writers Club and is funded by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
