Twilight Music sessions continue at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

Mon, February 10, 2020

Twilight music sessions continue at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre with the multi-talented and award winning contemporary folk and trad band KERN taking centre stage on Saturday 22nd February from 8pm.

The venue has seen numerous critically acclaimed line ups recently, with musicians and bands providing guests with a fusion mix of jazz, blues, country, bluegrass and flamenco, and this month is no exception!

Enjoy listening to beautiful harmonies of the uilleann pipes, guitar and fiddle, as the band bring a set of traditional songs from their home county of Louth, as well as original material that has featured on RTE Lyric FM, Radio 1, the Pat Kenny Show and Raidio na Gaeltachta.

In 2018, KERN won the TradFest Temple Bar showcase act, and played at Irish Fest in Milwaukee, one of the largest festivals of its kind in the world. Alongside this, they have toured extensively across the UK and Europe.

Guests can look forward to a cabaret style BYOB evening - a night not to be missed!

Tickets cost £13. To book go to www.roevalleyarts.com or call 028 7776 0650.

Kern will play at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre’s next Twilight Music Session on Saturday 22nd February from 8pm.
