An exciting new six-week football programme for young girls aged 4 – 11 is coming to Coleraine this month.

‘Shooting Starts’ will kick-off on Thursday 23rd January from 4pm to 5pm at Coleraine Leisure Centre.

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Councillor Sean Bateson said: “I am delighted to see this new coaching initiative coming to Coleraine which will give girls an opportunity to try out football in a fun environment under expert guidance. The programme offers training from professional coaches, giving participants the chance to develop their skills and hopefully encourage them to join a local club. It’s a great way to get active and meet new people and I would encourage those who are interested in taking part to sign up now.”

The scheme, which has been organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and the Irish Football Association, costs £25 for six weeks.
