30th Annual Art & Ulster Woodturners Exhibition, Ballymoney Museum

30th Annual Art & Ulster Woodturners Exhibition, Ballymoney Museum

Fri, November 04, 2016

The Annual Art & Ulster Woodturning Exhibition returns to Ballymoney Museum & Town Hall this month.

It runs from November 10th – November 19th.

With a great mix of traditional and contemporary styles and themes, the exhibition continues to be one of the most highly anticipated events in the annual cultural programme.

The woodturning display is staged in conjunction with the Annual Art exhibition, which allows amateur artists from the local area and further afield to display their varying styles.

The artwork gives visitors an opportunity to see a wonderful range of watercolours, oils and acrylics.

The exhibition includes pieces by some of the award-winning turners from the Irish Woodturning Guild.

The museum is very grateful to the team of turners who each year contribute their wonderful craft for display.

Their support and hard work has been vital to the continuing success of the exhibition.

The two displays complement each other perfectly and are sure to attract visitors from a considerable distance.

The majority of work will be for sale, so this could be the ideal opportunity to pick up the perfect Christmas gift.

This exhibition has always been very popular with both artists and visitors alike and this year promises to be no exception.

Admission is free and opening hours are Monday – Thursday & Saturday 9am-5pm & Friday 9am-4.30pm.
