Funding for Covid-19 Community Response Initiatives
DfC Community Support Fund - currently closed for applications - keep checking back for updates
Department for Communities made available funding to local Councils to provide additional assistance to vulnerable communities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the COVID-19 Community Support Fund is to provide small grants to local community and voluntary organisations to deal with emerging issues in local communities as a result of the continuing threat of coronavirus. This Fund opened on 08/04/20 at 3pm and Guidance Notes and details of how to apply are available here. ***This fund closed on Monday 20th April 2020, please check back for regular updates***
Due to the high number of Covid-19 Community Support Fund grant awards already made and the volume of applications still being received Council has temporarily closed the fund.
It is hoped that additional funds will become available in due course, applicants working on draft applications are advised to continue and when the fund re-opens they will be ready for submission.
Applications already submitted will be awarded funds in order of submission and as funds become available.
