Local Development Plan 2030: Preferred Options Paper
Council published its Local Development Plan (LDP) Preferred Options Paper (‘POP’) for public consultation on Tuesday 26th June 2018.
The POP, which is the first of three public consultation documents has been published during the Plan preparation, outlining the Vision and Strategic Objectives of the Council’s LDP. It identifies what the Council considers to be the main strategic land use planning issues affecting this Borough, and outlines a range of possible options to address these, including the Council’s “Preferred Options”.
The POP is accompanied by Sustainability Appraisal (Inc. SEA) Scoping and Interim Reports, an Equality Statement and a range of background papers available online at: https://www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/live/planning/development-plan/preferred-options-paper .
These documents are available to view in hard copy at the Council’s Planning Office (9.00am-5.00pm Mon-Fri), at public libraries throughout the Borough and online at: https://www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/uploads/general/CCGBC_Local_Development_Plan_2030_-_POP.pdf
Why are we consulting?
We welcome any comments you may have on the documents. These should be submitted via the POP Comments Sheet available online at https://www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/live/planning/development-plan/preferred-options-paper-comments-sheet . Any comments received will inform the next stage of Plan preparation; The Draft Plan Strategy.
