Name/Location Message of Condolence

Sean Bateson

As my last act as Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens I send my deepest sympathies to George Floyd and his family on his brutal murder at the hands of police brutality. Racism has never and will never have any place in our society and we should do all in our power to stamp it out in all it’s forms from systematic to causal racism. Solidarity with the Black Lives Matter campaign.

Sean Kerrigan

Sorry there is still so much casual and systematic racism in the world.

Helen Perry

Deepest sympathy to George Floyd and his family. The appalling events that surrounded his death should never have happened and should not be allowed to happen again. Racism is never far away from any of us. Each of us must reflect on our own attitudes. A sad reminder of how much still to be done but lets hope his death may galvanise changes

Andrew hollinger

It's time we stood together to end all hate in our communities! We are all the same but different! Embrace diversity! Embrace race! Staying silent is siding with the oppressor!! It's time to speak up and speak out! #BLM
